Hotel Royal Opera

Location is fantastic. Lots of great Paris experiences nearby.

I arrived to Paris with a different booking that ultimately fell through and at 10pm at night during peak season, Hotel Royal Opera was able to host me and ended up being such a wonderful location that I'm sad I didn't book them to start with. Every single one of the front desks agents were extremely kind and helpful to me even with the language barrier. One even with above and beyond helping me recover my lost phone at 2am in the morning. I haven't felt more secure or safe on a solo trip than with staying at Hotel Royal Opera. It's also in a fantastic location with easy foot, public, or bicycle transportation to The Louvre, CDG airport, Opera Granier, Stade de France and more. Highly reccomend for solo travelers or couples.

For me, the price was expensive but Europe is generally expensive.

For a 3 star hotel you can't expect much. Location was great. We didn't have breakfast, loads of places near hotel, walking distance from the metro.

We had a 4th floor room. The lift only took 1 person with luggage, or 2 without. The room wasn't the cleanest. Dusting hadn't been done in a while, plus there was hair everywhere. As the walls are thin, you can hear everything around you. Housekeeping wasn't quiet, hoovering the landings at 8 am. The landing phones are constantly going off to it's not the place to be if you want a lie in.
