PagueraFacilities and location just beautiful and the room were given under duress was lovely.
The check in system just soul destroying. This will come to no surprise to the hotel it took 3:30 to check us in a 2am it was insane! We do appreciate there were prob 40 guest prior to us and there and it was manic due to the flight cancellation following the storm. However it seemed like there was no sense of urgency. Families with young children including ourselves sprawled everywhere in reception. No queuing system and taking passport pictures of each guest. They could of just taken the passport and guest collected on check out and everyone just wanted to sleep and not exhausted. I suspect it was due to the key card system not working that caused the delays but that was never voiced. Instead it was a free for all to get a room!!
It was clean, modern and offer everything you needed, car hire and a shuttle to the local town. The location was stunning - one of the best secluded coves on the island. The staff were incredibly helpful and made our honeymoon magical. Definitely opt for a SEA VIEW room we decided to upgrade once we had arrived and sitting on the balcony for sunrise over looking the bay was magical.
Nothing. It was all outstanding- we did wish they offered full board but thats hardly a complaint the lunch bar on roof top was perfect for snacking throughout the day.
Stunning views
Staff not very helpful
Breakfast was great. The bar menu was reasonable vale for a hotel menu.
Some staff were not overly (although efficient).
Good location, very good buffet restaurant
Dirty, disgusting sea coast: no trace of equipped beach. Lack of staff. Expensive. The hotel is not properly managed
The hotel is nested in a very picturesque bay with crystal clear sea.
Our stay was spoiled from the moment of arrival, when stuff was not helpful at all and actually took advantage of our mistake booking adult only most expensive room in the hotel, which we had to change to lower category and twice smaller as only that category allowed children. Even though lower category rooms were widely available and initially cheaper, the stuff made us pay 700 on top of higher category room referring that it is our mistake and our problem that we have booked a wrong room. But be it The hotel is far from 5 star, as it calls itself. It is actually 3 star at best. Renovations are done only partly, but otherwise it is pretty old. Service is very bad. Had to make several reminders to bring us shower gels and shampoos, which was not available in 2 rooms out of 3 that we have booked, and one was missing liquid soap. The rooms are not cleaned properly and even though generally okeyish, they are not what you would expect in a 5 star hotel. The hotel is not child friendly. If you ask someone at the restaurant to make something out of the menu for your child, that will not work here. Even simply to boil potatoes is mission impossible. Even though the location is nice in terms of the nature around, it is distanced from the nearby town and getting taxi there is quite tough. We were waiting for 40 minutes couple of times when were going from the town back to the hotel. Uber doesnt work. Hotel is arranging shuttle to the town 4 times per day only. Nearby you only find 3 restaurants and no shops to buy some water for example. The hotel provides you only with 1 bottle of complimentary water per stay, then it is 4 in their restaurant.
