Hotel Presidente

We had an overnight stay at Hotel Presidente prior to our return flight back to the US. Daniel was working the front desk and was very helpful to give us advice on must see attractions in old San Jose. The facilities were great and a very comfortable roome. We had a fabulous dinner on the rooftop restaurant to top off our stay and the breakfast buffet was exceptional.

The rooms had an older thermostat that wasn't intuitive, for adjusting our a/c unit. It was on a timer and the unit shut off in the middle of the night as the default was set to running for two hours. Otherwise it was perfect!

Spacious rooms with comfortable bedding, and very good breakfast buffet. Newly renovated and clean. Zero complaints.

Rooftop bar and restaurant was nice.

Hotel needed cleaning in lobby, many unfinished areas throughout. Rooms needed updating.

Beautiful hotel with friendly helpful staff. The location is excellent as close to museums and other attractions. Rooftop restaurant is lovely but make reservations in advance.

The restaurant on the rooftop is busy. The service could be better. Took a long time to be served and not much follow up re more drinks etc.

Friendly staff, great safe central location and rooftop restaurant

Bathrooms were small and basic. The rooftop restaurant is nice, but not many other good restaurants nearby. Too expensive for the quality of room / location.

The location, breakfast and staff were superb, notably the staff who went above and beyond. Shout out for Jorge who was amazing. Room was very adequate but dated.

the staff are always extremely helpful, friendly and courteous and the hotel's design is visually impressive.

At 6 AM the breakfast cafe can get extremely noisy because the entire building is tile floors, hard surfaces and lofty ceilings, so noise can travel everywhere. Bring a good pair of ear plugs if you need to sleep in.
