Well maintained
Not able to cater appropriately to convert weekend guests
The natural tie to the grape vines. I enjoyed the walk and ability to be up close to the grapes. Gorgeous.
While at the pool helicopters circled the entire time. Wait staff was attentive, however, a little short staffed considering the amount of guests at the pool. Beautiful well taken hotel grounds. Grounds crew is doing a fantastic job.
Location, close to performance we attended.
our room had a small window with a view on the roof :( expected to have vine valley view

Better room service
The hotel is beautiful. The staff is extremely exceptional! The rooms are lovely!
I stayed in newly renovated king room overlooking vineyard with balcony. Check in was easy but was only told about 1 bottle of wine with room package. I forgot about breakfast being included as well but front desk staff while nice did not inform me of breakast. I tried to make a cup of coffee in room, but Keurig machine was not functioning properly. I had to call front desk to ask about breakfast and call room service to order breakfast in room. I scanned the code in room to open menu with no success. My remodeled room was on 3rd floor Bordeaux building and upon arriving work men were doing remodeling of elevator door & frame wearing N95 respirators as the odor and chemicals/solvents were strong. Workmen had floor fans/blowers near elevator close to my assigned room. If the odor created a problem inside my room I would have requested a room change. When booking room, I told them I was older, and was bringing my service dog. The fumes were not good for myself or my service dog. Other guests on same floor were as equally shocked about the work being done on floor where guests were staying. I had reservations at Olive & Hay made weeks in advance and I requested outdoor seating. My service dog, a well behaved obedient 8 lb dog was the issue, but they did find room for both of us. I sat by pool with service dog as well. He was well behaved, quiet and sat on my chaise lounger at pool the afternoon I checked in. The afternoon I checked out I did much the same, but I had a young man perhaps 22 or 23 years old tell me my service dog was not allowed to sit on the towel of my chaise lounge. I was told the dog needed to be on ground due to allergies. And I spoke to the manager, a woman maybe 1 year older than young man that basically gave me same ridiculous excuse. I am a nurse with 45 years experience that due to my exposure while working have developed horrible autoimmune disease requiring infusions every 4 weeks, daily injections.
See above.
Restaurant service was great at both Olive and Hay and Ember. Rooms on the grand reserve side were much I er than the rooms in the Bordeaux building.
We booked to be near the family pool and the garden where the live shows take place be but we're out across the road near the adults only pool. Then we were charged a premium to move across the road and were told it was because it would be a room with a view of the show on Saturday but it looked straight into a terrace restaurant with no view of the stage. Yet the cost for that night was triple the price of a regular night. We also had no help with our bags and parking on the day.
