We were lucky to be offered an upgrade and we appreciated the welcome drink, as well as the sweets and the water bottles left in the room. The room however was pretty small and the bathroom a bit old. It was really humid and the air puryfier really helped, however you can not sleep at night if it is on. The shared bathrooms are really small and not very convenient. The staff and the location were perfect.

The property was beautiful. Upon arrival, we got upgraded to a higher end room with a kitchen and private bathroom. The king bed was very comfortable and the room had fantastic air conditioning. The hostel is in an excellent location, around a 10 minute walk from the ferry and within 5 minutes of the beautiful North Beach. I loved the daily schedule of fitness classes and Spanish lessons. I felt very safe and the front desk staff were extremely helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

There was a party on the Friday evening, it was loud but they provided us with ear plugs which helped. Sounded like great fun, I was just too tired to enjoy.

We loved our stay at Selina! We arrived earlier and were lucky enough to be checked in straight away and got upgraded for a private room with a bathroom. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The location of the hostel is incredible! Only few steps away from all the shops and restaurants. Theres no direct beach access, but it didnt bother us, because Playa Norte was only 5min away and its an absolutely beautiful beach. The hostel also has a great pool with sun beds and hammocks all around. I would definitely recommend this place to solo travellers and youngish couples. Its not luxurious, but it has a lovely vibe for sure!

We stayed on Isla Mujeres only 1 night and it was our biggest regret!;)
