Explore six hidden beaches in Puerto Vallarta with a local guide. Admire the beauty of nature and swim and snorkel in blue waters.
After meeting your guide in Zona Romantica, take an urban transportation just like the locals do. Get off at a picturesque fisher town and start your hike following the riverbank and the sea. From there, ascend to the tropical forest with some amazing views.
After a short hike through the jungle, descend to your first destination, Colomitos Beach, also known as the smallest beach in Mexico. Take some pictures by the beach before continuing on your adventure to explore more hidden beaches.
As you arrive at your other destinations, grab the opportunity to swim in clear blue waters. If the sea is calm, your guide will take you to a secret place where you can snorkel and observe diverse marine life.
After your refreshing swim break, proceed to your final destination and last beach, Playa las Animas. There, you have the chance to try an incredible local seafood plate before taking the boat back to the fisher town where you will see the bay from a totally different perspective.

Juan was an amazing and informative guide! Very knowledgeable about the area and helpful. Was a great hike, just wish the jelly fish weren't in the water as didn't get a chance to snorkel or swim in any of the beaches(went in April).
What I liked was the attention of our guide, this time we had Juan, really attentive, very cool, his command of English, his personality, gives an extra touch to the excursion, the beaches, everything, a delight for the eyes, without a doubt a very good experience, the only bad thing is that we could not snorkel because the water was bad, and the waves because of the wind currents, the sea is very strong, I did not like that, but it is a matter of the season in which we went, due to the climatic changes of the year, I recommend going in August, September around those months, to take advantage of Puerto Vallarta in general in those months it is better.
The beaches are beautiful. There are lovely ocean views along the entire route. The boat ride back gives you another perspective of the coast.
Amazing! We really enjoyed the moderate hike to each of the 6 beaches as well as stopping to enjoy the water to cool down at each beach. Our guides Eric and Alex were fabulous and hospitality focused! They shared so much cultural information about the animals and nature we came across along the trail. The restaurant we enjoyed at the end of the trail was delicious. The only disappointment was not being able to snorkel due to the clarity of the water and jellyfish, we did enjoy the cliff jumping. The boat ride back to Puerto Vallarta was a great end to our tour seeing dolphins and the Arches. Excellent tour that I would recommend to anyone who enjoys hiking.
More insolite beaches. None of this was really so ‘secret’
Alex was knowledgable of the area, plant information, and overall made hike very interesting and hike was very pleasant. Definitely worth the money hike is challenging but so much fun totally worth it my family of 4 had a great time thank you Alex!!
We had an absolutely amazing time, and would 100% recommend as a must-see tour for PV! Eric was a fantastic guide!
