Osaka: Universal Studios Japan E-Ticket

This may sound uncultured, but this was easily one of the highlights of our recent Japan trip. Such a fun time that we came back a second day. Great rides, the Nintendo land is amazing and something you have to experience if you've grown up with Mario games. Very highly recommended. Tickets are great value too!

Universal Studios Japan was one of the most visually impressive and well-run theme parks we’ve ever visited. The attention to detail across every area is next level—from the lush greenery in Jurassic Park to the vibrant, candy-coloured chaos of Super Nintendo World. Even outside the big rides, every corner is photo-worthy. The park felt clean, organised, and had a surprisingly calm vibe despite the crowds. Staff were incredibly polite and efficient, keeping things moving with minimal stress. Food options were varied and fun—think themed snacks you’ll only find in Japan (hello, melon bread Minion buns!). What really stood out was how immersive everything felt, even in the queues. We booked a VIP pass which made the day feel effortless, and even though it was pricey, it saved so much time. It’s not just for families—there’s a lot here for adults too, especially if you grew up with Nintendo, Jaws, or Jurassic Park. A must-visit for theme park lovers in Japan.
