Obidos is a special place and staying in the castle was a real treat. Our room was off the courtyard so very quiet and magical.
The hike uphill with our bags was a bit challenging. If they had some way of picking up your bags at the parking lot, that would have been wonderful.
We loved the romantic vibe and layout of the pousada. We strolled the town and enjoyed the ambiance even though the weather was less than pleasant.
Breakfast poor
In a castle. Whats not to like?
Had to park 10 minutes away and leave the suitcase in the car. Carried what we needed in hand luggage. Facility is due for some freshening up.
Highlight was a young wait staff named Leonardo who couldnt do enough to ensure our experience in the restaurant was excellent.
Had to climb a cobble stone hill for 20 minutes with your luggage without assistance. The reception was grumpy , the room smelled musty, small bathroom,
Great location for exploring the castle.
Room was dark and needed an upgrade decor-wise.
