Inn at Reading

I have nothing good to say. I had reserved this hotel many months in advance with no warning about them closing their doors. When my friends and I got there to check in there were orange cones blocking the entrance of the building to go into the parking lot. The hotel was clearly shut down and abandoned. Again, I had no notice still just a confirmation of being able to check in.

I liked the location of the property. It was close to the highway and mall area.

I didn’t like that none of the facilities were accessible. The gym had a deadbolt lock and chain on it. There wasn’t a microwave in the room. The bed sheets were soiled. The shower had stains as it it hadn’t been properly cleaned. The walls had dirt on them in most areas of the bathroom and room were the beds were located. There was no phone to call front desk of these issues. The room had a cigarette smell to it. I basically had to run out to the store and get cleaning products so I can manage staying in the room. Only one large towel was given the entire stay as well. Housekeeping didn’t come around to ask if the room required a cleaning either. I had to stay an additional night for a work trip i was completing at the reading hospital and they came then when i was sleeping only because they thought i didnt extend for an additional night.

The room was dirty and there was a sward next to the front desk. I felt like we were in some bad 80s movie. It was very unsafe and you could smell pot in the hall way. The lock on our door was brocken.

Nothing. Will never stay there again
