Menger Hotel

I liked everything and loved the pool. My only disappointment was stated below.

The restaurant was not open.

The old feel, it takes you back in time. And the signature scent diffused throughout the lobby. We had a historical room overlooking the garden. The pool is serene and quiet.

There wasn't anything I can say I didn't like.

Clean, appealing, quiet

Refused to help with luggage (I had a broken arm), husband with recently knee surgery). A long way to check in and 20 min wait. A bit expensive.

The valet parking attendants were pleasant and cooperative in terms of our leaving luggage there while we picked up a rental car.

Having a room that had a step into the bathroom.

Location and proximity to river walk, mall and theatre.

Beds, desk staff no bell hops

Pool area was nice.

Historical building but over hyped. Very small rooms and bed. Expensive valet parking. Pleasant room service staff. Lacked that service attention to detail that would elevate it to match its historical weight.
