Nice location and history creepy john tour was interesting
The AC in the room kept not working on a very hot day and the room was very. There could’ve been more amenities for the price that was being charged.
Always beautiful
Overpriced. Food is less than stellar this year.
The authenticity of the building. The staff was great - everyone was friendly the amenities were everything we expected. The spa was perfect. I enjoyed all of the aspects of the bath and full body message. The indoor pool was also very nice.
The Crystal Dinning Room- it was horrible. We went there specifically for the pheasant which has been discontinued. But still on the menu. We stayed for dinner anyway- there was absolutely nothing good. Oyster Rockefeller was sent back - aside from over cooked oyster it tasted like the dumped the Sal t shaker on top. My salmon was served with puréed seasoned vegetables that could have been baby food. My sisters meal was beef medallions with seasoning that was so thick it was literally scraped off because there was so much you couldn’t eat it. We paid a lot for that dining experience and still gave the waitress her tip - because the restaurant was empty and it wasn’t her fault the food was so bad. For an all inclusive they need to address that restaurant. It adds nothing to the overall weekend getaway.
The hotel layout, the rooms in the overall history
The two dinners we had were good, but not excellent
