Lovely guest house

The views are stunning. The guest house is up a very steep hill. The staff were great and arranged to collect our cases from the bottom. They also gave us lots of information about the area. Great location in the centre of Ella.

In many years of travelling this is one of the very best budget guesthouses I've ever stayed in. Superb value for money, perfectly set up room, great staff. Really excellent.

Great experience!

The place is nice and conveniently located near the city center. It is a few minutes walk from the town and you can trek to little adam's peak as well from here. The view is applicable from the 1st floor and terrace which is very nice and depending on the weather, you can see the pictures similar to what has been posted. Breakfast is available at an additional cost though did not avail for it. The rooms are clean with each room having an electric kettle, a geyser shower and a good bed. There is running water, toilet paper and they provide you with complementary soap and towels which you can use. The staff are extremely helpful and kind. they also have a small garden area near the rooms on the ground floor which is nice.

For those travelling to Ella by train, it is advisable to take a tuk tuk (auto rickshaw) from the station if you have luggage as the property is on a hill which tends to get steep near the property. Our tuk tuk could not climb up with us and the luggage so we had to get down and the tuk tuk barely managed to make it to the property. Kindly note that you cannot pay online (unless you have a Sri Lanka account) so the expectation will be to pay in cash at the time of check-in. Thankfully they accept SL rupees or dollars but the change you will get in SL rupees. They do have pet dogs at the property so do not be surprised when you see them. They are not friendly but are there for property security. Always good to know that there is additional security.

Amazing views, super close to the main street!

Great location, only a few minutes walk from the main street. The rooms and the roof top offer a great view of the Ella Gap!
