Hotel Villa Fraulo

A beautiful property. Very lovely, nice room, great staff very friendly. Perfect location. Very quiet setting. Not big city, just a lovely town.

We had stayed at Villa Fraulo 10 years ago and loved it so we returned. It is charming and perfectly located. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfy. There was a lot of walking up and down stairs but the hotel on the whole was charming.

Great location. Lovely view from terrace. Friendly, welcoming staff. Large bedroom and bathroom. Very comfortable bed.

A bit shabby in some areas - the pool was particularly grotty and none of the toilets in public areas had locks on the doors and those in the pool area didnt even have functioning lights. Bedroom was spacious but decor was unattractive and very basic. Wardrobe was ridiculous- hanging rail impracticably high while depth insufficient to hang dresses - very badly designed. Terrace has so much potential to be lovely, but a bit scruffy and disorganised looking. No tea( except herbal tea) available at breakfast on the last morning of our stay - was told that someone would go and get some if I waited but it never appeared.

The hotel combines classic features with modern convenience. The view is amazing and located just a short walk into main square. The staff was incredible - they could not do enough for us.
