Clean room, comfortable beds, see view
Atlantic Oceanside is our favorite hotel in Bar Harbor. The accommodations are top notch. Staff are consistently friendly, helpful and welcoming. The complimentary breakfast is terrific as you choose from a made to order menu. In addition we love the grounds, ocean view, pool and hot tub. The hotel is very close to town and Acadia National Park, the perfect location!
great view, just poor weather during stay. We were facing the ocean. Breakfast not bad, wish i can get more than just one omelete. I esp like the bathroom in our room. Bed could be firmer.
Bed could be firmer and cleaner. I know it's an older hotel, but has been went through recent reno, so not bad. Too lil 'all-u-can-eat' choices for breakfast. all cold foods. Some staff is super professional and nice (the ones I met on Jan 1st morning), while some aren't as friendly (the ones I met during check-in, Dec 31 evening)
The room was large and comfortable. Having a mini fridge and microwave works well for us. The continental breakfast was also a big bonus.
Wonderful staff. They were awesome. Best breakfast you can get. The pool, gym and laundry were great. Can't complain about the Bistro. the food was good. Loved the firepit outside.
You have to drive to downtown Bar Harbor. Other than that, there's nothing to dislike.
This lovely site is right on the water, and our room had a balcony facing the sea. The place was exceptionally clean, the staff friendly and helpful, to a person. The breakfast includes a hot made-to-order option, which is well above the standard offering. We also ate at the hotel bistro which was quite tasty and reasonably priced. I would come back for sure!!
