Courtyard by Marriott Miami Downtown/Brickell Area

I booked a room for 3 guests at this hotel for one night, but our experience was far from what we expected. Upon arrival, we found that the room only had one bed, despite our reservation being for three people. However, we didn’t mind too much since we were only staying for one night. The next day when we went to the reception, the staff informed us that only 2 guests were entitled to free breakfast, and the third would have to pay extra. We had to insist that all three of us should receive the breakfast included, which eventually they agreed to, but it was frustrating to deal with. To make matters worse, when we checked our bank statement a few days later, we noticed that they charged us almost $20 more than the final amount stated on the invoice. This extra charge was not explained at the time of payment, and we're very disappointed by the lack of transparency and professionalism. Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing, and we won't be returning or recommending this hotel to others.

Coffee shop onsite. Shuttle to cruise terminals. Walking distance to Whole Foods and restaurants. Top floor balcony. Staff was very knowledgeable when checking in.

Room overlooked very busy road to 95. Lots of honking at all hours.

No water/coffee in rooms. Property was decent but nothing special. Definitely not a $400 a night hotel. At least the parking should have been included.
