A luxurious stay with elegant rooms, a seasonal outdoor pool, and upscale amenities, perfect for a relaxing and luxurious stay

The Thompson Atlanta – Buckhead, by Hyatt is a refreshing new take on hotel stays. I have not been this impressed with a hotel in a long, long time. For the price point, this hotel feels like a much more expensive luxury brand. The lobby is beautiful. My room opened into a vestibule with a slim table that felt more like a home than a hotel. The room was absolutely beautiful. The bed was really comfortable with fine cotton sheets of really good quality. The bathroom is stunningly beautiful. The shower is large with black subway tiles and a nook for toiletries. Extra points for having large pump toiletries versus single use ones and they aren't screwed to the wall. The shower water pressure will blow you away, in a good way. It is such a relaxing shower, perfect in every way. They have a Nespresso virtuoso coffee maker in every room - WOW! I cannot recommend this hotel enough if you want a unique stay at a very reasonable price point.

The hotel is located in a more residential part of Buckhead, offering a tranquil, homey feel that's a pleasant escape from the hustle and bustle of major roads.
