Rendezvous Heritage Hotel Auckland

Great location, lovely large room which was very clean.

The only thing that was a bit sad was that they provided a coffee plunger but no plunger coffee.

Roof top pool area is nice. Room was clean.

I slept on the floor at Rendezvous Heritage Hotel Auckland. Here’s why : Searched for a room to accommodate 3 people on Booking.com. Search criteria clearly states for Price for 3 People. Booked a non-refundable room for 3 and paid in full, received confirmation from Booking.com , room is paid and confirmed for 3 people. Couple of days before check in, hotel contacts asking for a further $65 per night for a roll away bed for 3rd person. I respond explaining booking confirmation says I have booked for 3 people for which I would expect enough beds. Didn’t hear back. Checked in. Went to room. No roll away bed. Then received a further email explaining: “The Suite can accommodate up to 3 persons however any extra beds, (in addition to the King Size bed already set up) will incur a charge of $65.00 per night” I bought this situation to the attention of lady on the reception, who offered the excuse that this is policy and apologised. I consider this to be mis leading and false advertising. Searched , booked , paid , confirmed all for 3 people , now you want more $ for a bed for a third person!? I’m disappointed and disgusted in Heritage Auckland.

Location and facilities and friendly staff

On arrival my daughter and I went to our room on the 11th floor of the tower wing.It was dark dingy small and overlooked the south side. I phoned reception and asked for a room on the harbour side which is what I booked. She explained there was nothing else available. When I still wasn’t happy she suddenly found another room 909 on the harbour side. The bed needed separating but the view was fantastic and the room was large with a kitchen bath and balcony - very nice. Shame we were given such an awful deal initially.

Staff friendliness and support. Room comfort. Rooftop pool.

No facilities such as room service, breakfast available.

Nice spacious 2 bedroom apartment, throughly enjoyed our stay. Having the washing machine & dryer was so great but adding a clothes rack would been helpful with getting other clothes dry

Pool, Gym and Spa facilities. The deluxe suite, very tidy, friendly staff, location.

Perfect set up for our family. Good value for money.
