So helpful, spotless, great extras, like a shop, coffee spot, great food. Beautiful scent all through hotel. Loved it. Room very comfortable. Great location to Convention Centre where Worlds dancing event on we were attending.
We were able to check in earlier which was nice. We reserved an extra day before our main reservation and the staff were able to keep us in the same room.
Location was good for The Convention Centre.
Service in the bar/restaurant was appalling on Sunday. It was not overly busy. Had to ask staff for a table where the sign says 'Wait here to be seated'. Had to ask staff to take our order. Food eventually arrived - no cutlery or drinks. Had to start eating with our fingers. On asking a 3rd staff member, we eventually got cutlery followed by drinks. Fish was completely burnt on the bottom. We did get that meal refunded but not what we needed. Requested 03.45am wakeup call for Monday morning, which never happened. No water in bedroom which almost every hotel provides now.
From the moment we stepped into the hotel to the moment we checked out, we had a very good experience. All the staff were exceptional, especially the supervisor in the bar (sorry, I can't remember his name)
