Nothing was a hassle or problem for the hotel, which is unassuming and all the better for it. Arrived in morning after overnight flight and though our room was not ready, hotel gave us keys to a better room that was ready. Service with a smile. The way it should be....
Location of this hotel is perfect, close to Metro stations and a lot to do around it. Staff was very helpful and kind and everything was spotless clean. Though rooms where very little, it still represents a good value for money considering the price vs. other hotels in the area.
Room size small, of course is New York, but it was at times difficult to move around the room with a family of 4 (2 adults/2 kids) + luggage. The beds had some god big drawers underneath, but they we blocked by either a room wall or a window. Breakfast was very expensive compared to many other restaurants nearby, even more expensive than Le Pain Quotidien in the corner.
The location was good
The hotel rooms are very small and uncomfortable. They should rethink the set up based on the space. It doesn’t make sense to have a wall work out equipment in such a small room. They should has smart tvs in each room. The lighting was horrible as well as the mirror placement in the hallway way. The barn door for the bathroom is a horrible idea. If someone uses the restroom you can smell what they are doing. They should really make changes to the rooms and make better use of the small space.
The overall vibe, location, daily free drink. Staff were helpful
Slightly small room and the closet is tiny (good for 1 person, but not a couple)
