Location, staff friendly

The sheets were wrinkled/dirty with hairs all over and we had to request new ones to make up the bed ourselves. The front desk was extremely kind and comped us the valet parking but kind of ick about crawling into another hairy used bed.

The pool was absolutely disgusting. Mold. Dirt. Unkept.

Pool and pool area were disgusting. Paint chipping off ceiling, mildew tile, hair and dust floating in pool. Our room bathroom had hair all over it.

It is in a good location in the waterfront, the weather on those days was not great so it limited our ability for long walks and most establishments were closed. Suggest to go after April.

Nice room, view, friendly staff

The water pressure in the bathroom sink was terrible. Staff indicated a problem with odd-numbered rooms had been noted. Also shower water was barely hot enough for a proper shower.

It was a great location in and around the Portland harbor. We loved all the small restaurants and shop in walking distance.

The mattress was like sleeping on a stone tablet. We tossed and turned all night. The pillows could have been 10 times better and a few more would have made it nicer. Not saying that I wouldn't stay here again, I might look into another hotel with better mattress and pillows next time.
