The beds and pillows are amazing! To the extend that I inquired where to buy the pillows :-) The sushi restaurant was great and the service in general was on par. Good value for money. Food was decent, cocktails at the pool were always flowing and there are some good wine choices for dinner.
Bees and chitre's are a problem. I got stung by a bee on our first day there and on the second night while having dinner outside the chitres ate us alive. My husband had 27 bites and I had at least half of that. Do not come here without bringing your bug spray or if you are allergic to bees!
The pools were pretty nice. The kids had fun and enjoyed swimming. The pillows in the rooms are comfortable. The food at the buffet was decent. The espresso martinis were the best I've ever had-exceptional.
I think everything is just a little out of date at this location. There were a lot of broken tiles along the walkways. And the rooms and facilities are lacking modernization. The kids club was closed for the entirety of our stay so that wasn't an available option for us. Overall, I don't think this hotel is what I was looking for in Panama but that's no fault of the resort. There was a playground for the kids but it looked old and sketchy and my kids didn't want to use it.

For two adults and an 11 year old child, I paid $607 for a three night stay and it included nothing. I stayed at another resort for $605 and it was all-inclusive for the same three people. This hotel advertised as all-inclusive, but when you check in, you find out that it is not. And, for it to be all-inclusive, it was $120 per person in addition to the hotel stay. This is 80% of the total stay cost. The staff is completely and utterly useless. I tried to change the dates of my stay prior to checking in to a later time and was not able to do so. I contacted the staff by email, phone call, and text messages through the booking app with zero response. The facilities themselves outside by the pool area are infested with chiggers and mosquitoes. Leaving the hotel, you find yourself with weltering blisters from the multiple bug bites. It was cheaper for me to leave the hotel and go into the city and have dinner for three people, then it would have to have dinner at the hotel. I was scheduled to check out on Monday morning and decided to check out Sunday evening and the point of checkout, I was told I owed an additional $3 because of the person who checked me in did not charge me the full price. I felt seriously aggravated considering that I was checking out more than 12 hours earlier than scheduled, and they complained about $3. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone for any reason!
Enjoyed the whole experience: friendly staff, amazing location, gorgeous views, excellent food. Loved the pool side entertainment
