Im checking in we were given a room which was really not big enough for two people, this may well have been the mistake of Booking.com however I feel that either Booking.com or the hotel should tell you it may not be suitable for big people, I booked through Booking.com and there was a mixup on checkout with the breakfast where they tell me that I only paid for one person, checking in they shouldve told me That breakfast is for just one person I have just been given a bill of 35 per day for breakfast. I would not have eaten here if we had known, so I spoke to the manager Yohan, and he was the friendliest nicest unhelpful person Ive ever met in my life, a smiley brick wall in front of him, with his little help in resolving this issue as possible and I had to pay. They really need to tell you Im checking in whether or not breakfast is 35 a day or not, the bed was comfortable but small, the hotel was clean and the general manager was one out of 10
All staff were great. Check in amazing and architecture was super interesting. Restaurant top level.
Problems with extra costs. Bathrooms in our room was substandard--broken and plastic.
The property is super nice, the rooms are cozy, the staff is very friendly and customer focused. The quality of food in Restaurant and Breakfast is also great. The hotel is part of complex with its own distillery with great products (and very competitive pricing I have to say). Last, they even give you the key to the Castle ruins for a nice 1015-minute hike and great pictures.
Nothing to mention here.
Warming team, comfy hotel.
The most beautiful place we have stayed during our Europe trip
Friendly stall, castle was amazing
