The soaking tub and mineral bath was fantastic!
Missing the amazing pillow spray and soaking salts
Love the vibe of the renovated shoe factory, beautiful rooms and centrally located to enjoy the town. We’ve stayed here once before and appreciate being able to bring our dog
we were located in the adjacent building directly over the patio area. It would be helpful to have some black out curtains as the shades don’t block out the lights which are plentiful in the front area of the hotel/restaurant. Also a Young Life group was meeting on that patio creating a tremendous amount of noise, it wasn’t the end of the world as they were out by 9:30 but the whole Jesus vibe was a bit over the top..just saying.
The uniqueness of the hotel was charming. Penny Loafer was not on duty while we were there but love the idea of her as a greeter. Love the architecture throughout, shoeshine box as a picnic basket for the continental breakfast, small detail of art work in form of postcard left on bed, high ceilings in rooms, very spacious rooms. We would stay again.
Showers leaked severely onto stone tile floor, inspite of trying to ensure that everything was sealed when in use and door was not left open to drip afterwards. Water pressure in shower was low but I can live with that considering the age of the hotel. Toilet room window sill was very dirty, good thing we don't use it for anything. Very firm beds, not for me and my husband but many people prefer very firm beds.
Love this hotel… it is the most comfortable beds/pillows in the US- I travel often!
The screaming child above me- all night!
