Rigoletto Charm

Breakfast is really good, a lot of different options BUT if you eat a lot (meaning more than 1 mini bagel) you will have to have eat a second breakfast on the streets. The location is perfect (near Santa Lucia train station and public transportation) a lot of good restaurants , sweet stores and gift shops nearby.

BE CAREFUL, KEEP YOUR MUNICIPALITY TAX RECEIPT Nobody speaks English after the check in!! The floor isnt well cleaned, we found old socks under the wardrobe and the couple bed is actually 2 single beds together. Also, there isnt a frigobar in the room. They can charge the check in depending on the hour you arrive (after 6pm and after 9pm increases even more) When we got in the room, we searched for the AC controller all over the place and couldnt find it. Since we arrived after 6pm there wasnt anyone available and no way to contact them online (WhatsApp, Facebook, booking chat and email). Therefore we couldnt regulate our room temperature the first night. On the next day we asked for the AC controller and they tried to say its not hot, meaning we didnt need it, when we insisted with the help of Google translate we got it. And remember to keep your tax receipt, because, they can forget it and try to charge you twice, even getting rude about it on the checkout.

It suits its nane as its absolutely charming. We liked the building , the street , the room , the decor , the breakfast and the staff who looked after us so well

Had to ask for air conditioning remote so no air con the 1st night .

It was clean a a good place to sleep.

Restricted check in time slot, the host was not available to let us in upon our arrival even though we arrived within their window of check-in time. The host seemed I sure of how to check us in and it was a very long check-in process. The B&B did not feel quaint or welcoming.

The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was excellent and the location was perfect in that it was close to the centre of Venice but in a quiet street so very quiet at night

Honestly, nothing, everything was great

The location was good for us. We enjoyed the breakfast. Lizicia served us breakfast each day. She was very pleasant and helpful.

The noise in our room coming from the room above us was unbearable. We could hear everything that was taking place in that room. One night the noise went on until 1 am. Fortunately, those guests left the next day. Unfortunately, the new guests were also noisy. The main problem is that the floor in that upper room has no carpeting. The management should really carpet that floor. They should also advise the guests that stay in that room to be mindful of the guests below them. In any event, I cannot recommend that you stay here. We were very disappointed with the Rigoletto Charm.
