Pick up from your hotel and drive to the Jade Dragon Scenic Area. The Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is noted as the southernmost snow mountain in the Northern Hemisphere. As a must-see attraction in Lijiang City, Yulong Snow Mountain is made up of 13 peaks with the highest one, Shanzidou, rising 5596 meters above sea level. The mountain range stretches 35 kilometers from north to south and 15 kilometers from west to east. The snowy and fog-shrouded mountain looks like a giant jade dragon seen from Lijiang Old Town, hence the name ''Jade Dragon Snow Mountain''.

Choose to explore the various attractions on the mountain including the Glacier Park, Spruce Meadows, White Water River, Blue Moon Valley, and the Yak Plateau. After exploring the mountain, choose to go to the Black Dragon Pool and/or Baisha Ancient Town.

At Black Dragon Pool Park, appreciate the ancient architecture groups built from the Ming Dynasty and also the perfect place for photographers to take the reflection of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Baisha Village used to be a Naxi settlement and the birthplace of local Mu Family Governors. Wandering around the Baisha Village, enjoy the slow lifestyle of the Naxi People.

Freely enter various courtyards to see the beautiful and man-made tie-dye artwork hanging for sale or drying in the sun. If you are interested in this artwork, the local small Embroidery School of the Mu Family is worth visiting. A few art stores and hostels, run by local people, are scattered around the Baisha Village.

Andy is a very friendly guide and provided us a lot of tips. I initially wandered if I should choose a guide or without guide. I m glad I chose a guide as it makes the journey easier， smoother and a lot of tips on getting around, best photo points etc. knowing some history and culture of some other places where we may be keen to explore. thank you

Would not recommend. 230 eur for the private trip with guide is way overpriced knowing that for the cablecars and impressions the tickets are worth a total of only about 600 RMB so what you pay is I guess mostly for the guide but it s more just someone who shows you which way to go, as there is not must history to tell about the place. Just take a didi and go by yourself and follow the (many) other people to see where to queue Overall very disappointing experience

everything in the trip was amazing. every spot we visited was worth waking up so early for. the mountain hike was so fun and hard the guide Jimmy was excellent and fun and showed us all the right spots and told us a lot of stories and shared best times to visit again as well as being a light presence. he made us take our time.

Il s'agit évidemment d'une activité incontournable à Lijiang. Ce fut un grand plus de le faire avec Aether Tours, une équipe qui s'est montrée extrêmement professionnelle du début à la fin. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le chat de groupe où tous les intervenants et nous même pouvions communiquer en temps réel, pour planifier puis réaliser le tour. Nous avons aussi apprécié la souplesse de Aether Tours qui a accepté de nous diviser en deux pour que mon compagnon puisse aller au glacier tandis que moi-même allais au Spruce Cableway. Une mention particulière pour notre guide, Andrew, un chinois bien sympathique, ancien pompier (😊) qui nous a permis d'etre relax du début jusqu'à la fin.

We opted for the non-tour guide package but honestly it felt like the guides were with us anyway (in a great way). They planned out the whole itinerary, with time stamps, to guide us throughout the journey. They also checked in on us periodically to make sure we were alright and that was really sweet of them! Since there was a pick up from our accommodations, our driver was early and helpful letting us get our oxygen tanks at better places with better rates! 10/10 would recommend this tour package to anyone!
