I highly recommend this tour. We spent the day with Jane, and she was a fantastic guide. Very kind and attentive, she showed us the wonders of Bohol. Her friendliness and adaptability were truly appreciated! Big plus for the guide.
“A really interesting and efficient excursion! A big thank you to Jane, our warm and smiling guide, who made this adventure unforgettable with her attention and kindness.
Chocolate hills is nice. I enjoyed the the river cruise (but not too much the buffet on the boat). Unfortunately we did not go to the turtle. All in all a nice experience but a bit too costly.
We had a really good time. Sam is a very nice guide and could tell us a lot about the Scenery. We specially enjoyed the Chocolate hills and the Tarsiers. The Loboc-River was very touristic but still a pretty view :) Notice that you have to pay for the lunch and economic fare seperatly. Thank you!
Overall great, we saw everything we wanted to see and Jane our tour guide was friendly and organised. However, the tour was overpriced and lunch is not included in the price. This felt like a very expensive tour for what we got
The guide was friendly and helpful. Great organization of the pick up and tour.
The guide was FANTASTIC! She was so patient, pleasant and helpful. The van ride was very unpleasant at times. The driver was driving way too aggressively in many instances and the vehicle needs rear shocks really bad! Few of us felt like we left that ride with sore backs and necks from all the bumps not just due to the road conditions but from the lack of good shock absorbers on that vehicles. Very unpleasant.
We enjoyed the trip, Sam is a good guide, helpful and knowledgeable, a credit to the industry. We had some rain but he kept the mood good. You need to pay 500 environment fee and 900 each for food on the boat (to be fair this is as advertised). The boat and it's buffett were very good. Chocolate Hills is very nice. You will be asked about additional stops (time permitting) to make on the tour, with several options, we visited a cave that was really interesting, these additional stops are all at additional entrance cost (quite reasonable). We skipped the Butterfly sanctuary/mini zoo stop (Bohol Lemur and Butterfly) because someone in Cebu (word spreads) warned us previously it's pretty unethical by western standards (appropriately it is rated 2.7/5 stars on google reviews) To Sam - just a suggestion; perhaps rank the additional stop options by their aggregate popularity ratings online so people can make more informed decisions quickly and vote on them.
