Jakarta: Local Street Food Shared Tour with MRT Jakarta

A delightful tour to an intriguing street food spot that is also frequented by many locals. Desi was an excellent guide. She provided us with extensive information about the various dishes as well as the history of Jakarta. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening with her.

Nice flexible tour, Nabila was great and easy to get along with. All transport was arranged already (mrt) & she gave plenty of recommendations for food. The food streets themselves had lots of variety and lots of local Indonesian dishes to try.

Nabila is a wonderful guide. We had a group of four, and Nabila arranged transportation between the various venues. We enjoyed hearing about the different foods, and trying them out. Sadly… one can only eat so much in one session. The tour is great; it is not endless walking through a night market, and it is not shut away in a nameless restaurant. Would do again.

Nabila was a five-star guide all the way. Personable, welcoming and a wealth of knowledge. I was very happy to sample a few things that were already on my Indonesian to-do list, but she also turned me on to a few things (like stmj bakar) that I might never have tried otherwise. I recommend taking this tour at the beginning of your trip.
