Almaty: Kolsai & Kaindy Lakes with Canyons Small-Group Tour

For a 16 hour tour, the bus was too small. Very uncomfortable for most of us adults. Destinations were great!

Everything was perfect, the best tour you can do in Almaty. It's a long tour, but every hour is worth it and every place you visit is amazing. I had Jenis as my guide and, as well as explaining everything perfectly, he was really friendly and happy to answer any questions.

Amazing scenery.

Had an amazing day despite the weather because of our guide, Muhta. I’ve been on many tours in my life and met many guides but she’s definitely one to remember. She felt like an old friend the entire time and made sure we were all comfortable and having fun. Good music taste too 😉 She made sure the tour was well organised and kept everyone updated at all times through Whatsapp— so that’s much appreciated. Very punctual too, so don’t be late for pickup! Don’t make the same mistake as us and not carry cash on you. You’ll need it for bathroom breaks and if you want to opt for horse riding— so definitely missed out on that.

It was a fabulous trip and we thoroughly enjoyed it. It was well organised and planned to suit everyone’s comfort. We visited 5 places - canyons and lakes - and enjoyed a sumptuous lunch at Saty village. A special mention of Farukh, our guide who made our trip memorable and comfortable. He had a close watch on all of us, understanding our requirements, keeping our requests, explaining things, connecting all travellers through games.. Also I would like to appreciate the driving skills of our driver Ruslan.. who drove us back safe through heavy downpours.. Overall it was an amazing experience with memories to cherish for the lifetime..
