Your first day will begin with you traveling from Kathmandu to Chitwan. Once having arrived to Chitwan, you will be taken to your respective accommodation by your staff. You can then refresh yourself with cold drinks before having some time to rest. Following this rest break, visit the Chitwan National Park where you can explore the wildlife, history, and essence of the park. You will later enjoy an exotic sunset from the Rapti River, before a village tour around the Tharu Village including participation in a Tharu dance program.
Day 2:
You'll start with breakfast at 7:00AM, after which you will go on a canoe ride along the Rapti River. You will get to see a rare species of crocodile after a small jungle walk, following which you will have time to savor a quick delicious lunch.
After lunch, go deep inside the jungle by Jeep where you will be able to observe the real beauty of the wildlife and vegetation. You will encounter many different mammals which are considered the wealth of Nepal throughout this safari, before returning back for dinner at the resort’s restaurant later that evening.

The trip was very well organised and communication was great throughout, I felt safe at all times as a solo female traveller. Chitwan was beautiful, saw so many animals and our guide Krishna was fantastic - couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Safari Adventure Lodge was a great base, the hotel was lovely with great food and very kind staff. The canoe, jeep safari and walks through the forest and village were all great. Would highly recommend this trip.
Excellent - we were supported throughout the journey from our hotel to the bus and on to where we were staying for the trip. It was well planned, with great activities and our guide was very welcoming. We had a good amount of time exploring in nature and seeing wildlife, which was the highlight for us. I do think it would be better to give more information about the itinerary beforehand, particularly mentioning the Elephant Breeding Centre to allow people to decide how they felt about visiting.
Absolutely amazing experience from start to end. Pick up from our hotel in Nepal was prompt with a clear explanation of what to expect for the 3 days and the journey across to Chitwan. Dropped off at the bus station and escorted onto the tourist bus. Took around 7 hours but with the views and comfy seats it passed very quickly. The hotel was at the bus station in Chitwan to pick us up and take us to the hotel. The hotel was lovely with staff who couldn’t do enough for you. They checked us in quickly and made sure everything was perfect. The meals were excellent and always 3 courses. You will not go hungry! Our guide Krishna was so knowledgable and explained everything around us. The elephant breeding centre was a little controversial but Krishna explained further of why things were the way they were. Later in the trip we saw the elephants in the river playing. The jeep safari was the highlight seeing 2 rhinos, lots of deer, birds etc. Also don’t miss the canoe ride & crocs! Thank you!
This experience absolutely blew me away. You can’t ask for better service from everyone on staff. They picked me up at my hostel and took me to the bus stop and gave me my seat (and they picked me up from the bus stop and brought me back to my hostel afterwards - so easy and smooth!) The room was way bigger than I expected, it had heating (my visit was in January) and super hot showers. The food was different every day and every single meal was delicious. The activities were incredible and made my Chitwan experience completely unforgettable. From the Tharu dancing, the morning canoe ride, the jungle walk and the jeep safari I saw wild elephants, rhinos, crocodiles, peacocks and many amazing deer and birds. Plus the nature is a sight to behold in itself. Would recommend to anyone!
Phenomenal!
Nice hotel and amazing jungle. It is well organized and in small group.
