Along the way, visit iconic filming locations such as the Jesuit Stairs, where Cersei began her famous Walk of Shame, admire the views over Blackwater Bay, and explore Fort Lovrjenac, better known to fans as the mighty Red Keep. To suit every schedule and budget, you can choose from three different tour options.
The 3-hour King's Landing Tour with Lokrum Island & Iron Throne
Our most complete and bestselling experience. In addition to exploring Dubrovnik’s Old Town and visiting Fort Lovrjenac, you will take a short ferry ride to Lokrum Island, where scenes from the city of Qarth were filmed. Here you will also have the chance to sit on the official HBO Iron Throne for a memorable photo. After the guided tour ends, you are welcome to stay on the island for as long as you like to swim, enjoy lunch, explore the botanical gardens, or simply relax in the beautiful nature reserve.
Additional costs:
- €15 Fort Lovrjenac entrance fee (free with a City Walls ticket or Dubrovnik Pass).
- €30 Lokrum ticket, including ferry and island admission (discounts available with a 3-day or 7-day Dubrovnik Pass).
The 2-hour King's Landing Tour (without Lokrum Island)
This is the perfect choice if you want to experience the most important filming locations without visiting Lokrum Island. This option includes the historic Old Town and Fort Lovrjenac, where many of the show's most memorable scenes were filmed. As you walk through the streets, squares, and hidden corners of Dubrovnik, you will discover how this medieval city was transformed into the capital of the Seven Kingdoms and hear the stories behind the royal intrigues, epic battles, and unforgettable moments of the series.
Additional cost:
- €15 Fort Lovrjenac entrance fee (free with a City Walls ticket or Dubrovnik Pass).
The 1.5-hour Super Saver King's Landing Tour
This tour is the ideal option for visitors looking for a shorter and more affordable Game of Thrones experience. This relaxed walking tour covers the most famous filming locations in Dubrovnik without any paid entrances or long walking distances. It is especially suitable for travelers with limited time, cruise ship guests, families, and anyone who prefers an easier-paced tour.
We had an amazing Game of Thrones tour with Davor (“Ser Davos”)! He was incredibly engaging, funny, and so knowledgeable about both the show and Dubrovnik’s history. His passion for Game of Thrones really came through, and he kept the whole group entertained from start to finish. We visited so many iconic filming locations from the series, and getting to see the island where Qarth was filmed was a real highlight. Davor shared behind-the-scenes stories, fun facts, and even recreated scenes to help us imagine how everything was filmed, making the experience even more memorable. If you’re a Game of Thrones fan visiting Dubrovnik, I couldn’t recommend this tour more highly. Thank you, Davor, for such a fantastic experience—it was one of the highlights of our trip!
Sehr schöne Tour. Super Informationen von Ivo.
O guia Bob tinha um ótimo conhecimento tanto da história local, quanto do roteiro de Game of Thones. Era divertido e atencioso. Valeu a pena o passeio.
Alex was lovely Very knowledgable Good fun. Thoroughly enjoyed it all
Really nice tour. We started at the Pile gate, went through Dubrovnik and Ivo showed us all Production locations and gave us information about the history of Dubrovnik. After 2 hours in Dubrovnik we took the fair to Lokrum to see some production locations and the throne. During the drive Ivo told us about the coast and buildings used for the production. We stayed after the tour some hours on the island for swimming.
Really great and Bogdan was knowledgeable and fun too. Would recommend this tour to any Game of Theonea fan
