Excellent - great time and very well conducted tour
Les dingos
It’s worth a visit to the island as it’s very different from anything else we experienced in the area. We wouldn’t recommend the tour as we felt that a large portion was spent driving on the sand roads which are novelty for a couple of minutes but become tiresome by the end of the day. Unfortunately due to the spread out distance aspect of the different visit sites, you do not have sufficient time to enjoy either the lake or anywhere else as you’ve got to rush around to fit it into a day. It’s over priced for what you get out of the day considering most is spent on a bus travelling. We were able to see Dingos, however, you will spend more time looking at Dingos that anything else. The guide was clearly knowledgeable about the island but didn’t convey it sufficiently as we didn’t come away learning too much.
So much fun ! The ride on the bus was rocky because of the road, but that’s what made it even more fun. The weather wasn’t really good, but we had the chance to see a double rainbow at the lake. The guide is so nice and very friendly. Overall recommend this outing for everyone!!!
The day trip was absolutely fantastic from start to finish - seamless transfer and pickup. John our guide and driver was very knowledgeable. He made us feel relaxed from the start and planned the route perfectly to allow the group plenty of time at each stop. His driving skills were amazing, negotiating the tracks after a major storm could not have been easy but John took everything in his stride which made the drive itself one of the major highlights of the tour. John is a real asset to the company.
Everything went without a hitch. Our guide was Jean, he took us all around the island and made us laugh a few times, we even saw 6 dingos on the beach.
We had an amazing trip to K’gari with our tour guide Geoff! He was so knowledgeable, positive and funny - it was easy to follow his stories as he made them super interesting (especially as we are people who don’t always find it easy to focus on listening to tour guides). He also turned the bus around for us to look at Dingoes - he really made our day! The 4WD bus tour is really bumpy and fun and it’s amazing to drive on the beach. Floating in Eli creek and swimming in Lake MacKenzie were really fun as well
Geoff the guide was lovely and really informative.
