We enjoyed an evening Emerald Bay boat tour with family visiting from Texas. Captain Heather was very welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. The boat was beautiful and relaxing. We were thankful that Captain Heather not only gave us history, but she also pointed out other landmarks and beaches that we had not tried yet. This private boat tour was easy to book through Get Your Guide app.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at the Seattle Space Needle & Chihuly Garden. We purchased the bundled tickets to save a little money. As busy as the Space Needle is, the organization is top notch. When you purchase your tickets, you reserve a time slot to arrive. It is a little intimidating to still see a long line when you arrive for your time slot. However, I will say that the line does move relatively fast and there is so much to see while you are in line that you forget you are actually waiting to get to the top of the Space Needle. The Chihuly Garden was a beautiful surprise! I encourage you to take time to watch the short videos offered in the Theater to learn how this inspirational art comes to be. We were fortunate to see the Glasshouse and the Gardens at night. We walked to the Space Needle from our hotel; however it is also easy to get there by train.

We had a fun friend's weekend in Las Vegas, and we all stayed at The Bellagio. The Bellagio is the best location on the Las Vegas strip if you want to be in the middle of all of the fun. The room was fairly large, comfortable, and had a great view. I will say the resort and casino is always VERY busy and full of people. However, it is an easy walk to many of the main attractions of Las Vegas. Staying at the hotel you have the convenience of watching the Bellagio Fountains and visiting the Bellagio Conservatory at your leisure. The ARIA express tram makes it easier to get to the Vdara, Aria, and the Park MGM. There is an outdoor covered walkway from the Bellagio to the Cosmopolitan where we were able to snap a beautiful picture at night.

Living in Reno, NV, we love to stay in the Lake Tahoe area whenever we get a chance. The Village at Palisades is one of the places we love to stay. The Village has everything you need from shopping to restaurants. We love that the rooms have full kitchens and refrigerators. The lodge offers multiple different room sizes and is perfect for couples or for families. The room includes free underground parking and access to 8 different hot tubs. It is fun to walk around and explore the historic Olympic Valley. This lodge is walking distance to the beautiful waterfalls of Shirley Canyon Trail.

The Thompson Dallas is a luxury stay in Downtown Dallas. We were fortunate to stay at the Thompson while in Dallas for a friend's birthday party. Upon arrival we were greeted by the friendly and helpful valet. The lobby was impressive and picturesque. The room was comfortable and shared the design of the lobby. It was nice that I was able to book a nail appointment at the Spa on site. We took advantage of a late checkout and just thoroughly relaxed and enjoyed the comfort of the room.
