How Did Jimmy Start? | The Rise Of MrBeast
MrBeast, aka Jimmy, is one of today's most famous YouTubers. He is known to give away money and also recognized for his amazing challenges. Welcome to Details in Luxury, and thank you for tuning in. Around the age of 13, he began making YouTube videos, and it took him six years to go viral and attract much attention. He used to make Let's play-type of content, where he filmed playing Minecraft some years ago. Those were his first videos back then, which had just around 1,000 views a month. For about 4-5 years, he worked his way until he came up with the idea of donating money to streamers and other people. This content was fascinating as they responded well to the donations he gave, but that was very costly. Jimmy is recognized for his wild stunts involving viral videos, many of which have a humanitarian cause. His stunts are not the stuff of action movies, but over-the-top activities that typically require large amounts of carting around small things (such as pennies), spending 24 hours in remote locations and handing out money - vast amounts of money. From tipping Uber Drivers $10,000, ordering water then tipping $30,000, tipping pizza delivery guys $10,000, to giving $100,000 to a homeless person, giving a homeless man a home, and more. Over the years, his content has changed as well. He played with super-long videos with obstacles such as saying "Hold Net Neutrality" for 10 Hours straight and Counting To 200,000 from Let's play-type 2 of content. Some of the unusual obstacles he has encountered since beginning his series on virality were: • SayPewdiepie100,000timesnon-stop • Spinafidgetspinnerfor24hours straight, • Readtheentiredictionaryinone sitting • Countto100,000whichtook48hours, and • Watchpaintdryforanhour He posted a video about a year ago with the title "(How I Gave Away $1,000,000).' He gives a good idea in this video where the money came from. First, he claims it all began with a brand offer - they gave him $10,000 with a business named Quidd. He took the money and gave it to a homeless man, posting it online. The video surfaced, and more companies were looking to get MrBeast's brand deals. From there, it all went really fast and well for him. To date, he has 35 million subscribers on his channel with more than 20 million views to average. He has a vast audience and can effectively promote his brand. We know that YouTubers started making and selling their products, and it was with success. Estimating how much he will gain on this is very difficult, but it's a decent number. You might want to check out MrBeast's merch on his website! Because the content he makes is advertisement friendly, he receives a pretty decent amount of money on YouTube ads. No matter how much progress you've accomplished so far, it would be best if 3 you kept learning, investing and developing. MrBeast is an example of this. He once shared that he used to make a dollar a day, so he didn't even have a microphone. His mindset was "reinvest everything he makes — every time he got a paycheck, that was the month's budget". He saved up a dollar a day to buy a microphone, and when he made a few thousands, he just spent a few thousand, when he made ten thousand, he only spent ten thousand. As he made more videos, he was thinking to spend it on videos somehow. And the more content he makes, the more likely it is for him to growing his access to different people through YouTube reviews, social media posts, etc. Now he usually gets more than 11 million views per video in the first 2–3 days after they are released.
