Here is what $2,400/Month can get you for an Airbnb on Oahu, Hawaii! This is the Island Colony Hotel, which is in Waikiki on Oahu. We stayed on the 19th floor in a studio apartment with it's own mini-kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and balcony. The views from the balcony were pretty unreal overlooking the mountains, the Ala Wai, the skyline, and a bit of the ocean. The Airbnb building also came equipped with a pool, hot tub, gym, laundry, and a little convenience store. The beach is only about 10 minutes away walking, making you smack dab in the middle of the action. This is also our first day and first impressions on Oahu and of Hawaii in general.
