This is a review of the Alpine Village Cabin Resort in Jasper, Alberta Canada. It's located about 2 km from the centre of Jasper, on the other side of the railway tracks. Its set on tranquil grounds surrounded by woods on 11 acres beside the Athabasca River. We stayed in a one bedroom cabin for 3 nights in early June 2024 as part of my exploration of the Canadian Rockies. Check out my videos of this 8 day self drive epic trip in the Canadian rockies Playlist. This cost CAD $1145 (AUD $1,254 or $418 per night) including taxes & charges. There is no Breakfast or food or drink options available, apart from the small shop at reception where you can buy some drinks and snacks. There are lots of cafes and restaurants in the town nearby however. Ample free parking is available. WIFI at the resort is slow, only one device is allowed to connect at one time and streaming services are not allowed. Each cabin has a fireplace and you can purchase wood for it at reception. Note: due to the wildfires that struck Jasper in July 2024 the resort is closed until spring of 2025. Jasper National Park is also closed to visitors . Check Canada National Parks Wildfires service website for details of access to the park and the Alpine Village website for when bookings can be taken for the 2025 and other seasons. It's a peaceful and quaint place to stay if you are staying in the Jasper area. This resort is highly recommended.
