We are always on the look out for authentic experience everywhere we travel to so when we got the opportunity to go meet, cook and share a meal with a local Rwanda Family in Lake Kivu, we jumped on the occasion. Christine is a mother of two boys living in a small african village not minutes away from the beautiful Lake Kivu in Rwanda. She was kind enough to open her house to us and teach us how to cook a typical Rwandan meal. On the menu today, Samboza fish from Lake Kivu in a delicious tomato sauce accompanied by potatos, plantin, beans and ugali.
