Crystal Falls is a pretty popular trail in the Annapolis Valley. Especially during the summer months when people are able to swim and jump off the top of the falls. We took the kids to walk the trail and decided to bring the stroller, just in case. Our youngest ended up walking about half the trail on his own. Our 3 year old on the other hand was having a hard day and just not into it at all. Until we made it to the falls. Then she happily threw rocks into the water and splashed to her hearts content. All three made the trek back in soaked clothing, which meant their was a lot of complaints on the way back. They quickly climbed into their seats once we arrived back to the car and had a great nap on the drive back home. Not every hike is sunshine and rainbows but the more we get out and the more we go at their pace, the better it gets.
