Everything! Service is fantastic, rooms are really classy. Great view. Nice food. Didn’t get chance to use the pools because of time but if we come back to Santa Monica we would definitely stay here!
The valet parking. Seemed a little unnecessary. We were told the car would need to be kept in the basement because of size but it was just in the normal car park and we could have easily parked it ourselves.
Stated before the location is great
The staff are very slow and seem to be on a go slow at all times. It reminded me of the remote islands I have visited.
Very good staff and very helpful .
The location was near the beach
Location.
A few things: This one is the biggest. We were unable to use the pool on Saturday. The DJ was SO LOUD that we couldn't even read, let alone talk. Seriously, this is a tiny pool and the music was loud enough to be at a huge pool in Vegas. I asked the front desk person to please have him turn it down. She sheepishly said she was "afraid" to do so and would ask her manager. We got nowhere. She came back and said the music was ending "soon at 4:00". It was only 2:30, so I don't call that soon. And even after the DJ finished, they piped in music that was also very loud. Consequently, my niece and her 1-year old could not join us that day - I didn't want to blow out the baby's ears. Nor was it at all pleasant just for my husband and I. The kicker is that front desk said they had this complaint from others too, so obviously they knew about the problem and ignored it. Geez. We were only there for three full days and lost out on the one pool day we left open for that. Upon checkout, we did receive a small credit but that doesn't really make up for losing the day. (My advice to the hotel - get rid of the DJ. No reason from your business standpoint to pay this person AND make the pool unusable. And turn down the music after he leaves to be background music.) The other thing is that a "pool view", can mean a tiny slice of pool if you leaned out over the balcony far enough. It was really a view looking at the parking lot. Website should say that. Bathroom and room were dingy - vanity was completely chipped, floor lamp bent over so much it looked like it would fall over, drapes falling down. Elevators not working for first two days we were there. Had to walk out the main door and around the building to the service elevator. After that, only one interior elevator working. Other guests told us that the front desk said that they have been under repair "for awhile".
They charged extra 2 nights for parking and 4 nights all together. But I parked a car only 2 nights. So still have not received my money.
Very good position, but breakfast à la carte, Parking only with valets…
Very family friendly, great location, staff members were top notch! Amazing service all around. We loved the pool and happy hour menu!
Pool was a bit cold but that didn’t keep us away and the elevator was broken. Not a big deal for us!
Very helpful staff! Great location close to the beach!
