Location & comfort & cleanliness
The room smelled mildly like cigarettes (even though I requested non smoking) , only one roll of toilet paper , no bath mat in shower, only one grab bar, no bathroom fan & no free breakfast
Location
One Pillow case had blood on it , poor cleaning , especially in the washroom …. You can see bodily fluid (either blood or some sort of stains along the walls.. looked old too as if it was there a while - crusty looking ) , the people controlling the parking whistle excessively all day , perhaps chat with them as I’m sure other guests weren’t too pleased as I spoke with some. The front desk ladies weren’t too polite , when asking questions about refund they were quite arrogant and rude … by giving short yes or no answers , no reassurance when asking about damage deposit and if it gets refunded. Would have been nice to know which card would be reimbursed and clarify they had the right one in mind as two different cards were used, one for the room and one for damage deposit. There was also no patio chairs on the bottom floor patio whereas all the balcony on top had one . The tv was broken , would randomly lose signal . Would also be nice if there was a microwave to heat food up for the price you pay. I’m not one to complain or be picky but I was quite disappointed and would like to share these thoughts to benefit the business owner . Best of luck… this was honestly a very poor holiday inn , worst one I’ve been too and I’ve always been a fan of holiday inn and never experienced something like this … hope this sheds some insight and doesn’t get taken personally - pure suggestions
Location and staff were very helpful and friendly.
Our room being on the ground floor, the outside noise in the hallway was quite loud in our room.
