Location was great for me, right next to where I had a work event. Beds are comfy, and I kinda like the old school aesthetic.
Shared facilities were terrible (no sink in a shared toilet, no hot water pressure in a shared shower). Just yuck...even if you don't have shared facilities, who wants to be staying in a hotel where some people can't wash their hands in the bathroom??? No AC and the room got really warm at night.
The only thing about this hotel is its location
The rooms are not clean, had to change the room as my sink won't drain. My colleague had signs of rats in his room.
Location is king!
None.
Clean, the common areas were amazingly clean and despite the age of the property it is clear they spent a lot of time and effort to keep it up.
Rooms don’t have air which isn’t too big an issue in San Fran, but I felt like it could have been an issue especially with no screens for windows.
I really enjoyed the amount of accessories available in my room. From the many power outlet options, electric lighting, and large windows which provided lots of natural light, along with ironing and hair care needs, my room had it all. The hotel is also centrally located in the heart of San Francisco making it ideal for access to many of the city’s famous landmarks.
