The room was OK, we were upgraded to a suite (we were 3 people) so there was enough space. The location of the hotel is very good and quite central. the breakfast was also quite good.
On the other hand, it was forgotten to prepare the additional bed. Also the main bed was extremely hard. As we had the aqua suite and you use the additional bed you cannot close the separation to the entrance. As the suite is accessed via a balcony there is quite a lot of noise when breakfast startet at around 7:15.
The reception is open 24/7 and except one person they were very friendly and helpful. I think the hotel is fine, but for that price I would have expected more.
The power sockets were on only one side of the bed. We originally booked a room with two separate beds which was not available the first night, but we were able to change to another room after one night. However, the two separate beds were two single beds pushed together with no space to move one of them to somewhere else. Still there were only power sockets on one side, meaning one of the two beds did not have a power socket next to the bed. We also noticed a lot of water dripping down in the bathroom in two places (we put a towel under one and it was soaked the next day), when we told this at the reception they answered that it is normal in summer because of the AC... I understand that the AC is the reason, but I would argue that this is a problem that should be fixed and not just shrugged of. I went to the toilets in the ground floor one time and water was dripping down the walls there as well. We also saw a cockroach in the bathroom (we were in the 4th floor) to which they also answered that this is a normal thing in summer and they didn`t even care to check or remove it for when the next guests arrive (at least that was my impression). They are also advertising a cafe, rooftop terrace and a spa (whirlpool + sauna) and fitness area, but the opening hours were not convenient for us and for the spa area you have to preregister when you want to use it.
Great location for picking up ship at the cruise terminal. Check out time of 12.00 midday was perfect. Great views from the roof terrace. Friendly and helpful reception staff.
In the evening the reception area smelled of stagnant water.
Friendly helpful service, location. Good value for Barcelona prices at that time.
Strange angular room, slightly small but well kept and designed as best as possible. Noise from lift.

Room wasn't swept on 1st day. Room was smaller than expected. Lots of traffic noise outside.
