Odalys City Marseille Centre Euromed

It is very nice and modern looking. My husband didnt want to leave the comfortable lobby which had very unique and fun decorations. Even though we didnt need it for one night, it was nice to have a kitchen in the room and pretty much anything we needed.

Only a little warm in the rooms. Had to leave the balcony open slightly at night. Not sure how it would be in the summer.

Modern, tastefully appointed, great facilities with public transport nearby but the best of all is everybody seems happy to be there. The smiling, courteous check-in staff Tata, Tania and Sujata were at hand with recommendations and lots of local knowledge where Mr Fixit Julian was very patient with this old guy who struggled with some technology, all under the watchful eye of boss Emanuel. A nice 15 minute walk into Vieux Marseille with a couple of local newbies. Check out Louis and Tata will get you 10% discount. All in all a fabulous experience

The staff was very friendly and nice. The tram is very close and it is quick and easy to get into the center of the city.

However, the hotel is between 2 highways and it is incredibly noisy - all day and all night long. There is a kitchen with dishes but there is no soap, no sponge, nothing to make it possible to clean if you use anything. So I wonder about the cleanliness of the everything. It said there was parking, but the parking situation is quite complicated. Again the staff was helpful and we were able to park our car in a city parking lot. It's quite expensive and about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. The parking lot right next the hotel is ridiculous you can only use it from 6pm to 8:30 am.

1)Paying a huge some of Deposit Fee. Its not clearly or visibly stated when stated- so it was more like taking all my trip money and hold it as deposit. 2)Informed the receptionist that we didnt have lids/covers for our cooking pots in our room but they never gave us the lids.
