The service from the people that work there was good
I did not like the room, the blankets
I had a very disappointing stay at Langham Hotel. The staff were unhelpful and seemed uninterested in addressing concerns. When I brought up issues, they were dismissive and didn’t offer any immediate solutions. The heater in my room barely worked, which was incredibly frustrating given the extremely cold weather in Chicago in December. Despite multiple calls to the concierge, it took a long time before someone was finally sent to address the issue. To make matters worse, I became extremely sick during my stay. My husband called to request hot water for the room, only to be told it was impossible. After some time, we received eight bottles of hot water, which felt like a mockery rather than a solution. The noise levels were also unbearable. I could hear someone moving furniture above us, making it impossible to get a good night's sleep. For the price and being a 5-star hotel, it was not even close to meeting those standards. Overall, this experience was far below what I expected, and I would not recommend it to anyone.
