I didn't use the pool or room service. The place is really nice and comfy. I did get a few drinks at the bar
I felt that the price was high for two nights. And they took $100 per night deposit..which was weird.
Price. Somehow, some way I booked a room for $35 a true steal. No complaints about the price. I also paid for valet parking for an additional $75 which I thought was the most practical. I did have a concert to attend at the loft and was able to walk there. The location is walkable. The staff was friendly.
Ghost. I believe this hotel has ghost, or someone was tryna kidnap me. I'm not kidding. I caution all women travelling alone to be vigilant. I got no sleep- noise inside and outside the room started at 3AM on the dot and did not stop til 630AM. ( when lights on or talking- these noises would stop for a short period, and course if i dozed off would start back) I'm no fool so i did not open my door. I also felt like the vents were in suspicious places including the shower and also my door handle was turned multiple time as if someone was tryna get in, but i always block my door when travelling alone, so it wouldn't open. The hotel had an overall eerie vibe. The decor is questionable and was interesting( i took a pic of the decor that i felt was strange and somehow, someway its no longer in my camera roll) My room had a large vent in my room(big enough for a person to come thru- at least 4 feet so that made me cautious) and also the shower had no door- which means a wet floor and because the vent is in the shower with you, the mirrors remained fogged for a long time after. Again i was overall there for hours but its a no. I got there at around 1230am and left at 1030am, the most stressful time i ever spent at any hotel in any state.
I loved the hospitality of the staff, Latrell was awesome! Along with my favorite valet person, Sipara. They made my trip a HIT! All of the staff were awesome. These two just were the All-Stars. Much appreciation and Hilton is fortunate to have you both!
My iron...and low battery in remotes, that's about it. A great experience! Keep up the good work! A sink by the refrigerator would have been nice, a design shortcoming, along with the faux drawers. No microwave?
I absolutely loved the decor especially in the lobby & elevators. Didn't make it to breakfast on the 2nd floor so can't comment on that. The lobby had a dark elegant theme with a lot of general seating, indoors and out for convo, etc including a coffee bar. The hotel is also right at multiple dining options for lunch, dinner including access from the hotel. Concierge parking seemed attentive though I didn't have a car, they always spoke when I passed by.
The biggest disappointment, though somewhat minor, is I didn't notice a closet nor an iron & ironing board. I did notice however a portable steamer. I had shelves in the room; I was told at checkout the closet should have been hidden in the wall, was a panel I should have pressed. I don't place my clothes on dark shelves so I had to live out of my luggage. Should I have needed one sooner I would have asked. Also the sink in the bathroom wouldn't hold much so you have to leave most toiletries in bag.
