Good hotel in airport area. Not too far from town
Beds were comfy, pretty good breakfast, nice & spacious rooms & facility. Mrs Judy was GR8 & the breakfast lady seemed nice enough.
The lady that works 2nd shift wouldn't listen to what we were saying about the drink machine, (the coke machine. The Pepsi 1 didn't work). Drinks r $2 each. We put n $2, pressed the button & nothing. Pressed the return change button & nothing. Put another $1 n (maybe drinks were $2.50), made a selection & the machine said $1. I went over to the desk to tell the lady & she gruntantly came over like we were a bother. We explained to her what happened. She opened up the machine & gave us 1 drink. We told her that we also had put $1 n & gave her another $1 & she was trying to tell us drinks r $2. We told her we knew that & that we'd already put $1 n the machine. We had to tell her over & over that we had $8 when we came down there & we wanted 4 drinks. She got all wound up about it & just threw her hand up & said "Whatever". She did give us the drinks we wanted but with a horrible attitude. Judy was a sweetheart once I started to check n. (We had to use the restroom soooo bad when we got there that I pulled up under the carport & my wife & I hurriedly walked to the bathrooms. Judy came out of the office & asked if we were guests. We told her we were & we needed to check n after the bathroom. Lol, poor lady didn't have a clue as to who we were. The floor n front of the fridge n the room had a crack n it I'm guessing from water damage from the fridge.
The rooms were accessed from outside rather than inside
The Location of the Hotel by the Airport.
The problems I've had with both rooms are listed here, with pictures: The phone in room #130 was broken, the headboard was wobbly and worn, the ceiling needed to be updated, the sofa was filthy and discolored, the furniture table was scraped and worn, and the bathroom sink did not have a stopper, allowing objects to fall down the drain. In room #132, the mirror was leaned up against the wall on the floor rather than affixed to the wall, and there was no alarm clock. The room's door was challenging to open and close, and the headboard was shaky and worn. There were holes in the bathroom wall. I had to get a mattress sheet to cover the soiled and unclean sofa. The nightstand has scratches. The base of the sink had flaking paint, and the entire room needed painting because of the peeling paint. Property There was a sign indicating that the swimming pool would be closed for an hour, but it was closed the entire time I was there, and the water was green. The property's landscape required a lot of work, and the sidewalks were damaged and dangerous to walk on. The old, hole-filled, rusty stairs were unsafe to use. Paint fragments and dryer lint littered the floor of the filthy laundry and ice maker area. There was one unsteady luggage trolley and one broken. Several of the motel rooms had dogs. The door to the fitness center was not unlocked with the room keys. The carpet at the front desk needed to be cleaned because it was filthy. There were filthy mattresses by room #130's corner. Something protrudes from the exterior ceiling near my room (# 132). In front of one of the rooms is a beer can. The entrance sign was not properly updated.
