Worst room I've ever stayed in for that price. A dump for $275/night.
The contemporary features.
The room smelled like cat pee.
Hotel Haya was the perfect place to stay when we visited Tampa for a concert last month. The hotel is beautiful, staff are warm and helpful, and the area is super cool and historic. I'd definitely stay again!
This is my favorite hotel in Tampa. It is pricey but well worth every penny.
We really liked the location in the heart of Ybor City! The hotel is very beautiful and modern. The restaurant and lobby are very nice as well.
We were in room 365. I’m not sure if what I’m going to tell you is just the room or the hotel rooms in general… When we got in the room, it was very cold. The air conditioner was set to 69. That’s OK except for whatever reason the room was very very damp. The cold floors had condensation on them the entire time we had the room. Walking without shoes was very uncomfortable as it was sticky and slightly wet. In addition, the bed linens and pillows were also damp and very cold. They felt like they have been absorbing a lot of moisture. Sleeping on the bed was very uncomfortable. I finally got up at 6 AM so we could go home. We live close by so I felt more comfortable taking a shower in my own bathroom and in the room that was so damp and humid and had cold floors with a lot of condensation. We were sure we kept the balcony door closed ro keep rhe humidity out but even when we turned the A/C way down, the room remained very damp and colder. Overall, it was a very uncomfortable experience.
