Arlo Midtown

"This was an excellent experience all around. It has a gorgeous design and a ton of common space, which you will need because the rooms are very compact - what you would expect from NYC. The rooms are very well appointed which makes up for the lack of real estate. The bathroom was luxurious and had sexy, moody lighting, luxury skin and hair products, and high-end plumbing fixtures. One thing I love is a hotel with lots of water pressure in the shower! The bed was very comfortable and the clever room design captured every single inch of unique storage space. I loved the room-wide upholstered window seat and windows that opened for fresh air. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. There's a rooftop restaurant (very casual) along with an elegant skylit restaurant off the lobby as well as a full bar that faces the street with window walls that open up and bring the outdoors in. Be mindful that there are extra hotel charges for the Wi-FI, city bikes, nearby gym access, etc."
