it was decent but a bit overpriced for what it was in my opinion. the pool is large and plenty of space but food options were limited and sub par
food wasnt great and I think overall the cost wasn't worth the spot. it has some history to it but it's not my first recommendation by any means in the area
decent spot but wouldn't rave about it, its a cool old historical spot but could afford to have some updates to the food and some of the common areas for sure
food was not good and overpriced so I recommend if you stay here eat elsewhere for sure. property was fine but nothing incredible
the hotel is an old staple but could afford to have some minor updates when it comes to it being outdated and the like. the overall hotel was good, and the staff was fine. it was sufficient but wouldn't necessarily return over other locations
food on site was not great, and overpriced for how bad it was. I strongly recommend not eating at the hotel even though they have two "good" restaurant options. I am a big foodie and wasn't impressed especially for the cost
Thank you everyone for a really lovely stay. I arrived at midday and was able to check in early. I received an upgraded room. The included buffet breakfast was delicious. Every staff member I had contact with was delightful. I checked out of my room at 11am but was allowed to stay and use the hotel grounds till my train departed at 8pm. I had the nicest day in the hotels gardens and resort pool, showers and towels included, drinks and meals at the poolside restaurant. So nice.
The Winter Palace is an elegant refuge from the heat of trekking through tombs. The room was beautiful, the beds heavenly, and the food delicious. We loved the pool, the shady lounges, and the ability to enjoy a cup of tea on our quiet balcony. The highlight, however, was the staff, particularly Esraa, who was unfailingly patient as she helped us navigate a variety of outings. Thank you Esraa for making our stay in Luxor a memorable experience!
We have no complaints, everything was perfect!
Beautiful historical hotel with gorgeous gardens, absolutely amazing! We allowed ourselves to have one night at a nice hotel and were so glad we chose the Winter Palace.
It was somewhat difficult to get hot water in the shower. We had to wait a long long time for it to warm up.
