Hotel Monville

Clean, very well situated and overall very nice. I like small and efficient room so my standard upper level room was perfect for me

Small room - more European like atmosphere. Black furnishings make switches difficult to locate . Reception is a tiny enclosure just past the main entrance - unsuited to the size of the hotel . Staff at breakfast room appeared to be very casual and not focused on customer service most of the time . Menu is limited to select dishes but all that we tasted were enjoyable .

The room that I paid for didn’t feel Like a king suite, very disappointed. Also the fire alarm went off and this is the second time at this property that this has happened. When I talked to the front desk they said this happens all the time.

What happened to this once amazing hotel? There is a smell in the lobby, like a mix old old cream and bad perfume… It ruins the first impression. Our experience was disappointing. But the whole city is degrading to be fair. Its sad.

The rooms and the bed is the most comfortable i’ve ever seen.
