Splendid Hotel Taormina

Pretty much everything. Very nice room, everything was clean and the interior was up to date. Bed was comfortable, A/C was working well, breakfast was very nice with its own omlette sation - grazie to the chef there. The pool was a bit on the smaller side but heated and with a beautiful location next to the rock.

One thing: the rooms are not very soundproof at all. We had an italian couple in the room next to us which would spend their whole evening and sometimes up to midnight yelling at other people on the phone. Its a kind of 50/50 problem - the rooms would benefit from soundproofing but also these were just bad guests, as everyone else seemed to manage just fine to talk in a normal voice and be quit in the evening.

The location and the views from our room were amazing, cleanliness of hotel and friendliness of staff

Not much pool area so limited sun beds. Coffee machine in restaurant at breakfast, so you could help yourself, would have been nice.

Beautiful hotel right near center of historic town.

Fantastic location, steps away from the main tourist street 'corso', fabulous room with sea view and jacuzzi. We loved the swimming pool and the bar where we had the best Moscow Mule cocktails ever! The staff was very professional and friendly, Francesco made us feel very welcome and helped make our stay memorable!
